CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND STI TREATMENT
The Center for Reproductive Health and STI Treatment or CREST is The Medical City South Luzon’s facility that provides diagnostics, management, linkage to care and continuity of treatment for patients with HIV infection.
CREST is a unit under the hospital’s Hospital Infection Control and Epidemiology Center (HICEC) and is composed of infectious disease specialists, infection preventionists, nurses and allied medical staff.
The goal of HICEC is to improve institutional and community awareness on infection prevention and control (IPC).

Facility-based HIV screening
Pre- and post-test counseling including risk reduction counseling, peer and family counseling
HIV and AIDS-related illnesses treatment and management
- Initiation and provision of antiretroviral therapy
- Initiation and provision of chemoprophylaxis for opportunistic infections
- Provision of treatment for opportunistic infections and other AIDS-related illnesses
- Mental and psychosocial health management
- Disease prevention including immunization
- Multidisciplinary management of non-communicable complications of HIV (i.e., cardiometabolic, renal, pulmonary, neuropsychiatric, etc)
Non-HIV sexually transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment
- Provision of treatment and management of STIs
- STI preventive strategies and risk reduction counseling

(Soon to be established) Social Hygiene Clinic for transgender people
