As part of its corporate social responsibility program, The Medical City (TMC) South Luzon staged its second edition and highly successful Friendship Golf Cup Tournament at the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club in Calamba City on April 17, 2024.
TMC South Luzon was able to achieve its objectives including fostering camaraderie between TMC South Luzon organization, patrons, industry and corporate partners, and friends, engaging with the LGU through a charitable undertaking, and helping a needy group or establishment. To top all these, the tournament participants had fun in the course and enjoyed the after-game festivities which included entertainment, free massage, on-course photos, and lots of raffle prizes.
Representatives from the Santa Rosa LGU, CSWD Head Judith Hasil, and the event beneficiary, Center Head of the Women and Children Crisis Center Marivic Congreso, were present to receive the six-figure donation. TMC South Luzon was honored by the presence of The Medical City Enterprise Chairman of the Board, Mr. Jose Xavier Gonzales, who also assisted TMC South Luzon officers, President and CEO Dr. Cesar Ramon Espiritu, and Chief Finance Officer Rosybelle Miclat, Marketing and Corp. Communication and Center for Patient Engagement Head Jan Clarizze Alberto, in awarding the check donation.
Dr. Espiritu extended his appreciation to everyone with the following message after the event, “It was a day full of fun, camaraderie, and entertainment and at the same time being socially relevant by joining the golf tournament that helped out a group that experienced abuse and oppression – The Women and Children Crisis Center, the sole beneficiary of the TMC South Luzon Golf Tournament.
