Community Involvement: A Strength of The Medical City South Luzon
Community involvement has been one of The Medical City South Luzon’s (TMCSL) strength since 2019, under the leadership of its President & CEO, Dr. Cesar Ramon G. Espiritu. It has established an extraordinarily strong tie with the local government which led TMCSL as a major COVID-19 referral center in the city of Santa Rosa and one of the first private hospitals certified as vaccination site for COVID-19 up to the present. A heartwarming commitment to its patients and health workers alike.
Several medical missions were initiated by TMCSL’s doctors and allied medical staff – during Tall Volcano Eruption in January 2020, TMCSL Eye Center’s Balik-Linaw since late 2019 and Mabuhay Deseret Foundation tie-up for Cataract Surgery patients since 2020, and other community outreach programs (flood victims’ donation, etc.).
TMCSL also expanded its reach via community and corporate partnerships with our offering to of onsite COVID-19 vaccination, COVID-19 related diagnostic tests, and Annual Physical Examination services. Our community partners also took advantage of our Home Care Program and Mobile Clinic services as well as virtual (online) consultation.
Committed to a healing environment
As one of the biggest hospitals in Calabarzon, TMC South Luzon has a mission to provide compassionate, ethical, and efficient healthcare through continuous innovations and excellence in medical services.
Togetherness and shared values with their communities are among the cornerstones of TMCSL’s growth and development. With this recognition from HMA 2022, TMC South Luzon lives up to its promise of being one of the most trusted names not just in Southern Luzon.
“These initiatives, which brought TMCSL care beyond our borders and into the homes and workplaces of the community we are serving, shall continue and expand to areas we can reach here in the Southern Luzon region and abroad,” says Dr. Cesar Ramon G. Espiritu.
