Dr. Arnold Maniebo, the Director for Nursing Services at The Medical City South Luzon (TMCSL) received an Excellence Award as Chief Nurse of the Year 2023 at the Hospital Management Asia Awards (HMA) held at Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 6, 2023.

Dr. Maniebo was recognized for his strong leadership and significant role in inspiring TMCSL nurses to serve with compassion in healing the patients with his E2E Nursing Program (Education to Empower). His program for training, educational advancement of TMCSL nurses and life-work balance activities kept the TMCSL nurses loyal and satisfied.
The Chief Nurse of the Year was this year’s latest addition to HMA Award categories, thus, elevating Dr. Maniebo as a pioneering winner. This international award is a testament to the dedication and expertise that Filipino nurses bring to the healthcare community and their unwavering commitment to patient care and innovation.
